Food Icing Ginger Cookies


This cake is usually served on Christmas day but it never hurts to also make and serve on a normal day.

Ingredients:
For the dough:
  1. 140 grams of powdered sugar
  2. 100 gr unsalted butter
  3. 100 g butter, white
  4. 1 egg
  5. 2 tsp ground ginger
  6. 1 teaspoon salt
  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 350 gr flour

For the icing:
  1. 1 egg white
  2. 250 gr
  3. Icing sugar
  4. moderation food coloring (color of choice regarding to selection)

How to make:
1. Enter refined sugar, unsalted butter, and white butter. Whisk until the sugar begins to dissolve.

2. Add the eggs, powdered ginger, salt, and vanilla extract. Beat well.

3. Combine flour and then stir again until well blended.

4. Wrap the dough in plastic, save for a while in the refrigerator.

5. Coat a baking sheet with parchment paper. typical dough thickness 2-3 mm.

6. Form dough fit the mold, place on a baking sheet.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 150oC until the dough is cooked and creamy.

8. For the icing, beat the egg whites until foamy.

9. Enter the icing sugar little by little.

10. Divided into several sections according to the number of colors desired.

11. Add food coloring and put in transparent plastic.
